This form will help us determine what areas you are interested in volunteering for and what days and times you may be available to volunteer.

  14. Note: SL requires only that volunteer tutors have a high school diploma or GED and be age eighteen and above. SL does not require that the volunteer knows another language to teach an ESL student or has experience teaching.
  21. What are your strengths?




  24. SL requires most volunteers to attend the 14-hour tutor training that is offered 5 times a year. SL does require tutors to commit to two hours a week of direct instruction, plus additional time for preparation, for a minimum of one year.
